Terms of Use

JABP GROUP PTY LTD · Updated 6 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-06.2

Using Synk

These terms apply to your use of Synk, an AI role-play and training service operated by JABP GROUP PTY LTD. By selecting “Agree and continue”, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, sign out and contact your organisation about alternative training arrangements.

Your organisation may have a separate agreement with us covering its subscription, fees, service commitments and permitted use. These user terms do not change that agreement or create a personal payment obligation for you.

Your account

Use your own authorised account, keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate account information. Do not share accounts or access another person’s records without permission. Tell your organisation administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Your organisation manages your training access, which may expire or end when its arrangements or your membership change.

If you neither log in nor use a training session for 365 consecutive days, we email a notice giving you 30 days to log in and keep your account. If you remain inactive, we delete your account and associated training records in the first daily deletion run at least 31 days after sending the notice. Logging in or using a training session before deletion cancels it and restarts the inactivity period. The Privacy Policy explains retention exceptions and accounts that need review.

Appropriate use and material

Use Synk for authorised training and related administration. Do not use it unlawfully, harass people, impersonate real people without permission, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or upload malicious material.

Use fictional personal details in role-play. Do not submit real client records, sensitive personal information, passwords or government identifiers unless a specifically assessed and authorised workflow permits it. Only upload documents, images, voice references and other material you have the right and authority to use.

You retain your rights in material you submit. You authorise us and the service providers involved to process that material as needed to provide the requested features, support and secure the service, and handle your requests, as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your material to us.

AI conversations and feedback

Synk characters, responses, transcripts and feedback are generated or processed by automated systems. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Training output is not professional advice, a qualification or a guarantee of performance. Review it in context and use human judgement before acting on it.

Organisations must review AI assessments before using them in decisions affecting a person. You can raise concerns about transcripts or feedback and request a correction or associated statement through our privacy request process.

Privacy and training records

Our Privacy Policy explains the information we handle, purposes, access by organisation administrators and Synk staff, service providers, overseas processing, retention and your request options. Voice sessions process audio and store transcripts and feedback. You can choose not to start a session.

Acknowledging the Privacy Policy does not waive your privacy rights or give blanket consent to unrelated marketing, sensitive-information handling or training general-purpose AI models. Where a separate consent is required for a particular activity, it must be sought separately. You can access the policy and make privacy requests without accepting these terms.

Service access and rights

We may need to interrupt access for maintenance, faults or security incidents. We may restrict use where reasonably necessary to protect people or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or give effect to your organisation’s access arrangements. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and how the issue can be addressed. Contact your organisation administrator about an access restriction.

Synk software, branding and other platform material remain the property of their respective owners. Access lets you use the service for its intended purpose; it does not transfer those rights to you.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and questions

We will publish revised terms with a version and date and ask you to accept the revised version before continuing to use Synk. Changes apply prospectively. Contact your organisation administrator for training and account questions. For questions about these terms or the Privacy Policy, contact privacy@synkai.co.
